August 15, 2024, Kuala Lumpur – The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im Bin Haji Mokhtar, officially launched the Koha Islamic Digital platform today at Hotel Premiera, Kuala Lumpur. This innovative platform is designed to revolutionize the management of Islamic inheritance in Malaysia and beyond.
In his speech, the Minister emphasized the critical role of Islamic inheritance laws, as detailed in the Quran, in ensuring the fair and organized distribution of a deceased person’s estate. He highlighted the necessity of planning inheritance properly to prevent disputes among heirs and ensure that the wealth is passed on according to Islamic principles.
Koha Islamic Digital offers a seamless online platform that enables Muslims to manage their inheritance affairs, including the preparation of Wills, Hibah (gifts), and Declaration of Matrimonial Property, from the comfort of their homes. The platform simplifies what has traditionally been a complex process, allowing users to complete necessary documentation in under 30 minutes.
The Minister of Religious Affairs, YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar, delivered his opening speech at Koha Islamic Digital.
“The digitalization of inheritance management, as undertaken by Koha Islamic Digital, is a commendable effort. It is crucial for increasing awareness among Muslims about the importance of organizing their inheritance while they are still alive. The Minister concluded his remarks by thanking and congratulating the entire Koha Islamic Digital team for their hard work in bringing this important initiative to life.
With the declaration of “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,” the Minister officially launched Koha Islamic Digital, which now offers three main products: Wills, Hibah, and Declaration of Matrimonial Property.
