
Kuala Lumpur, 21 November — Koha Islamic Digital Sdn Bhd hosted an exclusive high tea event at the Colonial Café, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, attended by distinguished guests, members of the Board of Advisors, strategic partners, and stakeholders to celebrate a significant milestone in Shariah-compliant wealth and estate planning.
The event was hosted by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin, Chairman of the Board of Advisors, and Datuk Wira Mohd Hafarizam Harun, JP, Chairman of Koha Islamic Digital Sdn Bhd.
In his opening remarks, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin highlighted that Koha Islamic Digital Sdn Bhd is being recognised for its groundbreaking digital estate planning solution, noting that the platform marks a major step forward in enabling a more accessible, transparent, and seamless Shariah-compliant process. He added that this achievement reflects a growing demand for innovative solutions aligned with both modern needs and Islamic values, and expressed gratitude to partners and stakeholders for their support.

During the event, Datuk Wira Mohd Hafarizam Harun, JP announced that Koha Islamic Digital Sdn Bhd has been selected as one of three recipients in the MIFC Global Impact Challenge 2025 (MIFC GIC 2025), co-organised by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC) Leadership Council. The award was presented by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the Global Islamic Finance Forum 2025 on 13 October 2025.
As part of the programme, winners received cash prizes and up to 12 months of post-programme support from the Asia School of Business’ Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (ASBhive) and global partners to scale their solutions. Datuk Wira shared that the funding will be allocated towards talent recruitment, business development, and product enhancement, supporting the organization’s expansion.

He also reaffirmed the company’s mission, quoting Co-founder and Exco Member, Mr. Peter Cheong:
