Deciding whether to inform your beneficiaries is a matter of personal choice.
In general, there is no legal requirement to inform your beneficiaries that they have been chosen during your lifetime. However, while it could be considered as a good practice to communicate your intentions with your beneficiaries if there are any complex arrangements involved, you must also consider whether there will be a possibility of your Will to be updated in the nearest future which may be affecting your list of beneficiaries at the moment. Ultimately, it is your own choice to make.
