KUALA LUMPUR, June 21, 2022 – Chairman of Koha Digital, Datuk Wira Mohd Hafarizam Harun on June 21, 2022 led an entourage to pay a courtesy call on Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Leadership Team at ASEAN Data Analytics eXchange (ADAX) Kuala Lumpur. This was attended by MDEC leadership team led by Mr. Gopi Ganesalingam, Chief Digital Industry Officer (CDIO), Mr. Razif Aziz, Vice President/Head of Business Services, Ms. Ruslena Ramli, Director of FinTech and Islamic Digital Economy, Ms. Yvonne Yong Chuan Yin, Head, Startup, Innovation & Community Building, Mr. A. Balasubramaniam, Head of Funding Ecosystem & Mr. Hazwan Hussein, Manager, Special Projects & Industry Engagements of Ecosystem Development.
During the visit, Koha Digital is keen to explore collaboration opportunities in the field of digital legacy planning “Through this meeting with MDEC we were able to have a good discussion on how Koha Digital can collaborate with MDEC to provide a wealth management platform solution for the community including youth to create awareness and educate them on financial literacy. It has also come to the attention of MDEC that Koha Digital is advocating the applicability of digital signature and therefore we hope it will pave the way to the amendment of the current law.” says Datuk Wira Mohd Hafarizam Harun, Chairman of Koha Digital.
