Peter Cheong, Co-Founder of Koha Digital, emphasized that the collaboration is designed to support, not replace, traditional legal roles.
“Our vision has always been to build a bridge between technology, legacy planning and the legal solutions, not to replace it. We are not here to take over the vital role of legal advisory; rather, we aim to be the digital enabler that makes these services more accessible and efficient.”
Amin Othman, Director of Koha Islamic Digital, highlighted the impact this will have on Islamic estate planning.
“The goal is to simplify the complex without losing the substance. We want to empower the public to secure their legacy easily, while giving the legal sector a streamlined way to manage Shariah compliance. Collaborating with Azmi & Associates ensures that we aren’t just building a tech product, but a comprehensive solution that works for everyone.”
Datuk Wira Hafarizam, Chairman of Koha Islamic Digital and Executive Committee member, in echoing what was said by En Mohd Amin, added further that this signing is not merely a mark of signatures between parties, but a testament of what Koha Islamic Digital has been advocating all this while: making e-Wasiat, e-Hibah, e-Harta Sepencharian, and Faraid calculators easily accessible to all walks of society, irrespective of their financial standing.
